Community Garden Maintenance Manager **Position Filled**

Indiana Community Garden (ICG) and Chevy Chase Food Forest (CCFF)
Job Title: maintenance manager of community gardens
Employment Status: Part-time, average of 10 hours per week, flexible hours
Timeline: 5 months position running from May 1, 2025, to September 30th
The position reports to the Indiana Community Garden Coordinator and Chevy Chase Food Forest Coordinator

​Summary of Position:
The Maintenance Manager's primary role is to facilitate fresh vegetable growth in the Indiana Community Garden and the Chevy Chase Food Forest. The position will ensure regular weeding, mulching, and watering and assist with planting and composting. The garden manager will work with the ICG and CCFF garden coordinators to establish the weekly goals.

The position requires strong knowledge of sustainable gardening, and garden equipment, and a passion for gardening, food justice, and sustainability.
